Tutorial

The user begins by clicking on the kabob menu icon to open the preferences menu. In this menu, the user is able to change the side of the ear to style, select a complexion color, view both ears, clear the ear canvas, save, share or download their styled ear, view the tutorial, or navigate to the help screen.

The user selects a complexion color, and then clicks the X in the upper right-hand corner to close the preferences menu.

The user returns to the main screen and can see the product catalog on the right side, and the ear canvas on the left side. The user clicks on a product to select it. As the user begins to drag the product towards the ear, areas of the ear where the product can be placed, highlight. The user drags the earring to their desired placement and releases it. The product is now on the ear. When a product is activated the right-hand side of the screen changes from the catalog to the product detail page showing metal color options, the ability to add the product to cart and product details. The user clicks on the blue arrow above the product and rotates left, right, and back to center. Products that cannot be rotated will not display a blue arrow. The user then clicks the X in the upper right-hand corner and returns to the main screen.

A 6.5mm hoop is selected from the catalog and dragged towards the ear. A message displays alerting the user that certain areas of the ear have minimum ring sizes, and the user might need to size up or down to fit a specific part of the ear. The 6.5mm ring is dragged toward the conch area of the ear. The conch displays diagonal lines to differentiate between the shading to demonstrate that although rings can be placed in the conch, that specific size will not fit. The user returns the ring to the catalog. The user then selects a 9.5mm ring and drags it towards the ear. The conch is now highlighted as an allowed placement. The user places the ring on the conch.

The user now sees a screen that shows how various ring sizes fit on different areas of the ear. The intent of this screen is to tell the user that they can select sizes that best fit their desired style and fit.

The user is returned to the product detail page for the ring just placed in the conch. The user changes the metal color from white gold to yellow gold and the ring updates to reflect the color change. The user clicks the X in the upper right-hand corner and is returned to the main page.

The user selects a charm from the catalog page. When a charm is selected, products on which the charm can be placed will highlight. A ring on the canvas highlights and the user places the charm on the ring. The user now moves the ring and charm together from the conch to the helix. The user clicks the X in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and returns to the main page.

The user clicks on each main tab. Click on Explore to browse jewelry options, Curated Looks to get inspired by expert stylists, My Selections to see recently viewed jewelry, or My Looks to view your saved curations.

The user clicks on Open This Look to open one of the saved looks on the My Looks tab. The saved look is now displayed on the canvas.

The user clicks on View Left Ear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. The ear side changes from right to left and the left ear style is now displayed on the canvas. The View Left Ear link now updates to View Right Ear.

The user clicks on the kabob menu icon to open the preferences page. The user clicks on View Both Ears and an image of both ears is displayed on screen. The user clicks on the X in the upper right-hand corner of the image and is returned to the preferences menu.

The user clicks on View Tutorial and has the option to view the tutorial again.

The tutorial has now ended.
